Established in Seevetal/Hamburg in 1969, svt has grown meaningfully through both organic development and selected add-on acquisitions. Today, svt is a leading player in the German Passive Fire Protection (“PFP”) products and installation services market and one of the leading restoration management (“RM”) companies in Germany. The PFP business comprises the full value chain from R&D to manufacturing as well as installation services of fire preventing and resistant products that are sold either to OEMs, wholesalers or construction customers nationally and internationally. In addition, svt offers one-stop-shop services in RM, specializing in fire, water and natural hazard damage restoration as well as pollutant removal, executed by a network of regional subcontractors.
Why
Our investment thesis consists of acquiring a successful company to serve as a platform in an attractive market with significant organic and external growth opportunities and inherent resilience to economic downturns, in particular in RM. We aim to further accelerate growth around the PFP products market due to its attractive business and financial characteristics. Moreover, the combined company has an attractive and asset light business model featuring strong visibility and cash flow generation.
